Email is the only way to contact us at the moment. We do not take phone calls or messages through social media.
What to Include in Your Message
- The page or calculator you are writing about, ideally with a link.
- What you were trying to work out, and the figures you entered if your question is about a result.
- Whether you use metric or imperial, and pounds or euros.
- For a tool idea, a sentence on what it should calculate and who would use it.
Please do not send bank details, passwords or other sensitive personal information. We never need them.
When to Expect a Reply
We aim to reply within 2 working days. HousyTools is a small, independent site, so replies can sometimes take a little longer at busy times.
Found a Wrong Figure or a Broken Tool?
Please use the report an error page. It lists exactly what to send, so we can check the problem against the original source and fix it quickly.
What We Cannot Help With
We cannot give advice on a specific gas, electrical or structural problem in your home, or recommend individual tradespeople. For gas work in the UK, find a Gas Safe registered engineer on the Gas Safe Register. If you smell gas in Great Britain, call 0800 111 999 straight away, or 0800 002 001 in Northern Ireland.
